Was it really God?
I woke up and for a minute was wondering why I could hear school kids playing, then in a rush, it hit me as I looked at my clock and discovered it was 6.50am taking into cognizance that I resume at 7:30am, I live on the mainland and work on the Island. Getting to work early seemed very herculean.
“Please Father I pray there’s a miracle available for me because I need to get to work on time” I prayed as I sprinted into the bathroom. I finally got to CMS bus stop at about 7:15am and was faced with the regular CMS traffic, and then something happened, the driver of the commuter bus I boarded suddenly climbed onto the shoulder of the road and drove confidently to the very end of the traffic jam which left the traffic officials gaping.
We spent about 10 minutes in CMS and I got to work on the dot of 7:30am. I was ecstatic and began praising the Lord.
Later in day as I remembered the morning incident, I realized that the driver broke every rule of the traffic law, which indeed was very unchristian, but it seemed that it was the only way I could get to work early.
This brought me to the enigmatic question? Was it really God? Does God use “unchristian ways” to sometimes rescue his children?
